Cambridge Discovery Park

Cambridge Discovery Park is a 27-acre, LEED-certified, 10-building office, technology and research campus located within easy walking distance to the Alewife MBTA Station. Shadley Associates was retained to enhance the project’s site design and to accelerate the development’s progress through the permitting process. Working with the project architects and engineers, SA led a rigorous site design effort that resulted in expedient project approval by the City of Cambridge Planning Board.

SA created a signature contemporary landscape design for the entire area. The plan addressed issues such as vehicular and pedestrian circulation, traffic calming, universal access, landscape and streetscape design, feature courtyards, and all site materials and furnishings standards for future phases for the entire campus.
