Riverside Center

The Riverside Center project transformed an obsolete warehouse into 500,000 SF of Class A office building. Located at the intersection of Routes 128 and I-95 and adjacent to the Riverside MBTA Station, the site is a regional model for sustainable brownfields repositioning and Transportation Oriented Design.  JP Shadley led this project through all of its landscape design and phases including public approvals, pricing, full documentation, bidding and construction while a Principal with another firm.

The project includes over three acres of outdoor plazas and public open spaces and it incorporates stone walls made of local granite and brick pavements to achieve a comfortable and familiar garden ambience. The project received a Design Award from the Boston Society of Landscape Architects.
