Olmsted Place
Olmsted Place is a luxury residential development located along Boston's Emerald Necklace- the 1,100 acre chain of parks linked by parkways and waterways. Named in honor of the founder of Landscape Architecture, Fredrick Law Olmsted, this LEED Silver Certified development features significant courtyards with spectacular views and direct connections leading to Olmsted Park. Shadley Associates provided the signature site design on this landscape – centric project for the Boston Residential Group. SA’s work on Olmsted Place includes the handsome masonry walls and piers, a highly detailed entry plaza with specialty pavements and extensive placemaking elements, a lush garden courtyard and an active courtyard featuring a swimming pool, sunning areas, and play elements and dining areas with outdoor grills and comfortable seating.
